Born to be Wild

Yes, as the music says, I was "Born to be Wild"! I might have gotten a little older and slowed down a bit these last few years, but I'm still a 17 year old kid "inside". The picture above on the left was "enhanced" by a "friend" of mine. He thought I might look better without the thick, curly hair that I really have. I'll give you the comparison and let you, the viewer decide.

One of the proudest achievements of my life (aside from my sons) was graduating from M.I.T. (Murray State College In Tishomingo, Oklahoma). In August 1996, I received my Associate of Science (General Studies) Degree, and in August 1997, my Applied Associate of Science (Physical Therapist Assistant) Degree from M.I.T. This was my graduating PTA class...

If you're interested in hiring a PTA, my resume is available for your perusal.

Prior to going back to college, I served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, where I spent my career in the "Supply" field. I got to do a bit of traveling during my years in the Corps, including two tours on Okinawa, a year on mainland Japan, eight months in Saudi Arabia, and a short time in Honduras. For those familiar with the military, I was twice awarded the Navy Achievement medal for outstanding supply work.

It's been a big change for me, going from supply work in the military to Physical Therapy, but I love my new profession. There is a great satisfaction in doing your best to help others get better. I highly recommend the medical field to any and all who are dissatisfied with their current profession and may be looking for a new direction for their life.

When I'm not at work (or driving 200 miles a day to and from in my new car), you will usually find me at the computer, working on my web page, or sitting back, reading a book and/or listening to music. I've been a Sci-Fi "nut" since I was "knee-high to nothing"! I used to do a bit of rock climbing with Richard Jr, but haven't been climbing since he returned to southern California (taking all MY climbing equipment with him!). I "LIVE" for every other weekend, when I can spend time with my baby, Joshua. When he and I are together, we spend our time tickling and cuddling on the bed or the floor, or crouched down behind the sofa with our guns, shooting the "bad guys & monsters" on T.V.

There's a part of me that's always wanted to be a "HERO", to come riding up on a fiery steed, defeat the villain, and ride off into the sunset with a beautiful maiden in distress...

(Guess I've watched too many movies!)

Come, visit my "Hero" page and live the adventure with me!

One of my newest hobbies is downloading music from the internet. My taste in Music ranges from the mid 60's to the mid 70, but you are likely to find just about anything in my collection, including those HARD to find oldies and funny songs. If you see anything in my collection that you just CAN'T live WITHOUT, contact me via email, my Guestbook, or ICQ (5367240) and I'll see what we can arrange.
